Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Entries Open

It may only be September and it may be more than four months until the first engine is fired in the quest for success at the 43rd Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, but that doesn’t mean that the work behind the scenes hasn’t already commenced!

Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Entries Open

Entry forms for the 2015 Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic have been mailed directly to the entrants from 2014, while the Premier Speedway website now also contains downloadable versions of the Entry Form document!

Once again with well over $200,000.00 in prize money up for grabs, plus an attractive tow money package, event organisers are again anticipating strong competitor numbers including a large posse of American invaders come January.

On the back of the inaugural three night Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic earlier this year, the format remains exactly the same with the field set to be split over two qualifying nights before all entrants return for battle on the third and final night of competition!

One such entrant will be Warrnambool’s Jamie Veal, who after claiming a win on his qualifying night in 2014 and a third place finish in the Classic finale, is back for another tilt at Classic success.

Veal is the first confirmed entrant of the 2015 Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic and again will be aboard his distinctive SWI Engineering, Lucas Oil, PWR, Mototech, Heytesbury Stockfeeds backed number 35 Maxim, a combination that proved powerful not only at the 2014 Classic but also at other major meetings including the 2014 Easter Sprintcar Trail.

The Warrnambool young gun only recently returned from the United States where a seemingly hit and run mission throughout Ohio proved successful, with Veal being able to claim his first career feature win on US soil!

So as Jamie Veal becomes the first entrant for the 2015 Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, work is continuing behind the scenes to once again make the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic the jewel in the crown of Australian Sprintcar Racing.

The 43rd Lucas Oil Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic as supported by Oval Express Magazine, GJ Gardner Homes, KRE Race Engines and the Lady Bay Resort Warrnambool will be held at Premier Speedway on January 23, 24 & 25, 2015.
